Meneja ships with built-in support for multiple languages, letting you and your team work in the language that suits you best. The dashboard interface — menus, labels, messages, and action buttons — switches language immediately when you change your preference. Tenants can also configure the languages they want to offer their own users, independent of the language you use in the admin dashboard.

Supported dashboard languages

The Meneja admin dashboard currently supports three languages:

The dashboard defaults to English. If you have previously selected a different language, Meneja remembers your preference and restores it the next time you open the dashboard.

Switching the dashboard language

You can change the dashboard language at any time from the header bar.

Open the language menu

In the top navigation bar, click the globe icon next to your current language name. A dropdown appears showing the available languages.

Select a language

Click the language you want to use. The dashboard interface updates immediately — no page reload is required.
Your language preference is saved in your browser. Switching to a different browser or device will reset the preference to English until you change it again.

Tenant language configuration

Each tenant can define the languages it supports for its own storefront through the languages field on the tenant record. This is a list of language codes (for example, ["en", "sw"]) and determines which language options are available to the tenant’s customers. The languages a tenant supports are configured from the tenant detail page and are separate from the language you use to navigate the admin dashboard.
Changing your dashboard language does not affect the languages configured for any tenant. The two settings are independent.
